Best restaurant for travelers with small children in Fort Smith, Arkansas. We came here on a Thursday night at 7:00 with tickets to ride the Arkansas & Missouri Railroad from Van Buren the next morning. Our meal was hot, fast, and extremely friendly. Like another reviewer stated, this is a diner, and a very good one. Plenty of relics on the wall for children to look at. The Razorback burger add chili looked amazing! Our waitress gave our children quarters to ride the hog, then we ordered them M&M cookies and she walked our homemade malts to the car, which any drive-thru couldn’t hold a candle to. Could not have asked for a better experience for our family road trip.

What a little gem of a place. A proper American diner, it's an original diner dating back to 1943, and I can see why it's stood the test of time. There is a great sense of being back in time, and you can imagine what the place felt like to be in the 40s 50s and 60s with the old cars, the change in music and people's styles. This restaurant has a great atmosphere around it, it's extremely welcoming, the staff were truly amazing and look after you. The food was amazing, cooked and tasted really nice, proper American diner food at its best , we have the odd American diners around in England and myself and my wife have been in a couple, you get a sense of what it would be like to be in one, but you just don't get the same feeling as we did being in Ed Walkers. It was a true American experience on our road trip, THANK YOU
